Kiki van den Berg is the Executive Vice President HR Strategy & Transformation – Head of Digital Transformation at Rabobank. In this capacity she is co-leading the global Agile@Scale transition at Rabobank, called Simplify@Scale. Perhaps the largest BusDevOps transformation in the Netherlands at the moment. Kiki is no stranger to large transformations, having carried out similar transformations at major organisations.

Simplify@Scale contains a working method with a focus on personal responsibility and creating transparency. It enables the Rabobank to respond more quickly to rapid changes in and outside the organisation.

In 2018 we started our Agile Transformation at scale called Simplify@Scale. Our Dutch Retail Banking domain was the first to kick-off. In 2021 we went global and introduced this way of working in our International Wholesale & Rural domain. Now we are bringing our Agile Transformation to the next level expanding our focus from the customer journey’s towards our employee journey’s and our Finance & Risk domain. In this presentation Kiki shares the successes, struggles and provides insight into the

process of transforming the bank into an – entirely – Agile organization.
